Meet the Team
Ashley Bucio, M.A., BCBA, LBA
Founder
Ashley is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of Homestead Behavior Therapy.
She started this practice with one goal in mind — to create a space where children feel understood, supported, and truly seen, and where families feel empowered every step of the way.
Ashley has a Master’s degree in Psychology in Education from Columbia University and has been a BCBA since 2019. For the past 9 years, she’s had the privilege of working with children with autism and their families across a variety of settings. These experiences have shaped her approach and deepened her belief that meaningful progress happens when therapy is compassionate, consistent, and rooted in real life.
That’s why she specializes in in-home ABA therapy — because the most important skills are built where your child lives, plays, and grows.
Her approach is centered on connection first. She believe that trust, patience, and collaboration with families are the foundation for lasting change. Every child is different, and she takes pride in creating individualized plans that focus not just on behavior, but on communication, independence, and confidence.
At Homestead Behavior Therapy, we celebrate the small wins — because those small wins turn into life-changing progress.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and creating a peaceful, grounded home life. The name Homestead Behavior Therapy reflects what she believe at my core — that children grow best in environments where they feel safe, supported, and truly at home. That belief guides the way she connects with each family, bringing warmth, patience, and intention into every session.
